The following is a Kids Day Gathering Personal Traveler that is currently baking along nicely in the oven and will travel dressed in its foil overcoat ready to get a few fingers hot on Sunday, October 20, 2002 at Rocky Neck State Park in CT. Butter, sour cream and chives are optional.

THE HOT POTATO

Kids Day is October 20 and Kids just want to have fun, right?????

Well Kids of all ages, a Hot Potato will be amongst us for the day.  All you have to do is find Ol Spud!  Get your hands on it....But not for too long. You might get burned!!!  Easy, right? Well maybemaybe not. You see, you wont know who has it.and lots of different people will! You have to find this little pomme de terre chaude and give it to someone who hasnt had it yet or take a chance it will be handed to you!

When it's passed to you, HURRY and slyly take a stamp for your book. and then GET RID OF IT! You can hand it to someone else stamping in at Kids Day Central or you can slip it to someone out on the hunt. You can toss it to someonehand it under the tablehide it and tell the next person where it isbut dont get your fingers burned hanging on too long to this Hot Potato!
